Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

⚠️ LogiCalc calculators provide estimates for informational purposes only. Results are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for health decisions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LogiCalc (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.

2. Use of Calculators — Informational Only

All calculators on this site are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are mathematical estimation tools based on publicly available scientific formulas. Results are not medical advice and should not be treated as such.

Do not use calculator results to self-diagnose, self-treat, or make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional. LogiCalc is not responsible for decisions made based on calculator outputs. The formulas used are validated for the general adult population but may not accurately reflect individual circumstances, including the effects of medical conditions, medications, or significant variations in body composition.

3. No Professional Relationship

Use of this Site does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, personal trainer-client, or any other professional relationship between you and LogiCalc or its operators. The information provided on this Site is general in nature and should not be relied upon as the basis for any health, medical, nutritional, or fitness decision.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we make every effort to ensure our formulas are accurate, current, and correctly implemented, we make no warranty that results will be correct for every individual. Metabolic rates, nutritional needs, and health markers vary significantly between individuals due to factors our calculators cannot account for, including genetics, hormonal status, medical conditions, medications, sleep quality, and stress levels.

The Mifflin-St Jeor equation, our default for BMR and TDEE, has an average prediction error of approximately ±10% when compared to measured resting metabolic rate. This means your actual calorie needs may differ from our estimate by up to 10% in either direction. We present this information to ensure you use results as a starting point for adjustment, not as a fixed prescription.

5. Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Site. Users under 18 should use this site with the knowledge and guidance of a parent or guardian. The metabolic formulas used on this site are validated for adults (aged 18+). Results for users under 18 may be less accurate. For children and adolescents, consult a paediatrician or registered dietitian for personalised nutritional guidance.

This includes, without limitation, any decisions made regarding diet, exercise, medical treatment, or any other health-related action.

The Site is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where LogiCalc operates. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
